If you’re looking for a therapist who’s curious, thoughtful, & tries to be human with laughter & adding a swear word here & there — someone who helps you explore both emotionally & intellectually — we might be a good fit. A free consult can help us feel that out together.

I blend collaborative methods to explore modern science, philosophy, education, literature, theory, emotion, & attachment—so I can move with clients & help make sense of complex relational & internal patterns. I’m not afraid of depth—or taboo: whether it’s identity, power, kink, fear, or family, no topic is off-limits.
-
We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’re hoping for, & begin getting a feel for how we’ll work together. You don’t need to prepare — just come as you are.
-
I ask a ton of questions, bringing curiosity, care, laughter, & insight — without being clinical or cold.

I work best with thoughtful, high-functioning individuals & partnerships navigating relationships, life transitions, anxiety, or inner conflict—especially those looking to explore more deeply, not just seek a quick fix. A few clients have jokingly nicknamed me their “gay between,” since I help them explore perspectives & relationship norms outside of what they’ve always known. I welcome & affirm clients of all races, genders, & backgrounds, including fellow members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
-
I only take on new clients who can commit to weekly or biweekly sessions for at least the first eight sessions. Most begin weekly—because consistency is what makes therapy effective. As we build trust & rhythm, though, i’m happy to revisit frequency based on your needs & capacity.

I’ve found that couples work is most effective when each person has spent some time in individual therapy — at least three months — building self-awareness & emotional grounding. This foundation allows us to go deeper, faster, & with more clarity in the relational work.
